SUMMARY:A Celebration of Trails
DESCRIPTION:Our two June trail-centric events\, Prairie Chase Run/Walk & Trails Day\, are teaming up on June 24th for an all-day celebration of the trails of Pheasant Branch Conservancy! \nPrairie Chase Run/Walk \n8:00-11:30 AM \n9th annual Prairie Chase 5K/10K. The 5K route takes participants around the main crushed limestone path through the Conservancy. The 10K route will explore less-frequented corners of the Conservancy\, and in 2023 will include trails in Dane County’s newly restored northern parcel. Learn more and register at: https://www.prairiechase.com/ \nNational Trails Day Festivities \n12:30-3:00 PM \nWe’ll keep the celebration going into the afternoon with our second annual PBC Trails Day. Family-friendly\, inclusive activities including: Madison Reading Project’s Big Red Book Bus\, Pollinator Week info and activities\, kite-flying demonstrations\, and hands-on nature exploration and crafts\, will be headquartered at Orchid Heights Park.
