DESCRIPTION:Our Annual Membership Meeting will take place on Saturday\, January 4\, 2025\, at Holy Wisdom Monastery in Middleton\, beginning at 7:45am.   \nOur guest speaker will be Professor Ben Zuckerberg with the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at UW-Madison\, who will be discussing the effects of climate change on wildlife. \nWe hope you will join us in person\, or remotely if you prefer. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.  \nMembers should watch for an e-mail invitation with an RSVP in early December.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy Annual Meeting \nSaturday\, January 6\, 2024  \n8:00 AM at Holy Wisdom Monastery  \n4200 County Road M\, Middleton \nKeynote Presentation: Native Plants and Land Health \nNative plants are the basis of sustainable\, diverse\, and beautiful landscapes supporting wildlife\, pollinators\, and beneficial insects.  They also play an important role in watersheds and carbon sequestration. With Susan Carpenter\, Native Plant Garden curator and gardener at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum\, we will explore these roles and relationships. Drawing a connection between public native plant restoration and our own backyards\, we will learn how to foster resilient gardens and landscapes using native plants that thrive without fertilizers\, pesticides\, mowing\, or supplemental watering. \nAgenda \n8:00 Breakfast Buffet- no cost; donations accepted \n(those needing extra time may arrive for breakfast at 7:45) \n8:30 Business Meeting \n9:00 Keynote Presentation \n10:00 Q&A and Wrap-up \n  \nWhether attending in person or virtually\, please RSVP here.
