Dorothy Shannon: A Founding Mother

In September of 2023, Friends gathered at Shannon Prairie in Pheasant Branch Conservancy to celebrate the prairie’s 20th anniversary.  Dorothy Shannon, a long time resident of the City of Middleton and a founding member of the Middleton Conservation Committee and the Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy was instrumental in the early days of conserving this resource for future generations.  The video below, produced by Dale Klubertanz and Gary Sater,  tells a story of Friends’ history.
