Orchid Heights Park in Middleton, WI

The Friends of Pheasant Branch will host the second Make a Memory Day for this summer.  The focus of this free program will be on the healing power of nature.

Join us in the Conservancy to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of nature, open and activate your senses, and truly experience this special place in a personal way. Two skilled guides will be on hand to help you access benefits nature has for your health and well-being in a slow, deliberate, and grateful way.

Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, bring a sit-upon and walking sticks if you’d like, water, hat, and bug spray. Light refreshment will be served at the end.

This experience will have two options: 1) a ¼ mile round trip walk on a paved trail, gravel trail and short distance of grass to a spot in the Conservancy very close to Orchid Heights Park, or 2) a brief saunter under the park shelter or along the grass and ponds within Orchid Heights Park.

Your guides:

Certified nature and forest therapy guide Kate Bast, of Shinrin-Yoku Madison.

Certified mindful outdoor guide Colleen Robinson, of Natures Good Company, LLC.
