Great prairies grow from great seed stock. We need your helping creating a “Platinum Prairie” in the new 160-acre addition of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. The Clean Lakes Alliance has received a $100,000 donation from the Alliant Energy Foundation to help restore the former farmland to prairie. The Friends of Pheasant Branch are joining forces with Dane County and the Clean Lakes Alliance to raise a matching $25,000 a year over four years.
Good news! The first $25,000 was raised in 2020 and has been used to seed the first quadrant of the new prairie.
