On March 27, 2019, Pheasant Branch Conservancy was once more assisted by Rob Schubert, Quercus Land Stewardship Services and volunteers from Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy in executing a successful prairie burn of the western prairie section of the conservancy. This burn serviced the prairie bordered by Pheasant Branch Rd. to the west, the Acker Farm property to the north, Frederick’s Hill to the east and the main composite trail on the south side.
