Conservancy Day Programs Going Virtual

Bird specimens collected by volunteers in the Bird Collision Corps give a snapshot of the diversity and magnitude of the bird-window collision problem at a local scale.

Conservancy Day programs are moving online.  We will continue to host these interesting and educational programs every month except December. Please join us on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 via Zoom.  Simply RSVP to conservancyday@pheasantbranch.org to ensure that you receive the Zoom link.  September’s talk will be on Madison Audubon’s citizen science program, the Bird Collision Corps. Local students are partnering with them to monitor migrating bird collisions with the windows at Kromrey Middle School.  October’s program will be on the green building practices used by the Middleton Cross Plains School District (MCPASD) in its new construction and current buildings.
