This past Saturday the Restoration and Management Committee hosted the first truly open workday in Pheasant Branch Conservancy since being suspended due to the pandemic. Ten of us took to the fields with our Land Manager, Rob Schubert, to collect several varieties of sedge and Angelica seeds. There were 5 new volunteers and 5 R and M Comm. members present. It was a beautiful morning in PBC and the seed harvest was considerable. Our next seed collection workdays will be on August 7th and August 21st from 9am-noon (unless it will be very warm and we move the start time to 8am and finish at 11am).
