The Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy is expanding the Propagation Garden in the Conservancy. The garden is used to propagate native plant species for prairie and savanna restoration efforts and serves as a seed source for the Conservancy and Dane County Parks. The propagation garden is an educational resource teaching about native plants, showcasing underutilized native plant species often not included in prairie restorations.
We’d like to invite you to donate plants to our propagation garden through the Plant Dane Native Plant Program. It’s easy – just click HERE and select Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy and then select the number of plants you’d like to donate. Plants cost $2.50/each and must be ordered in multiples of 4. The deadline to donate to our project is March 22. All donations will be picked up by our land manager. If you donate plants, you DO NOT need to pick them up.
The plants you donate will provide seeds for years to come.
Thanks for helping to make our garden grow!
