On Friday, May 12th, nearly 80 Westside Christian School students, along with their teachers and chaperones, came out “in force” to the City portion of PBC and teamed with the Education and Restoration and Management Committees to take turns experiencing an interpretive nature hike and removing invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle. The teamwork was impressive as much was accomplished and the students and staff appeared to really enjoy the opportunity to spend the morning in nature! We thank all who planned and carried out this event! We remain determined to involve youth in not only learning about our restoration and land management activities, but also joining in and experiencing the satisfaction of contributing. They are the future of land preservation and management!
