Kromrey Middle School Rain Garden Project

Another season of the Kromrey Middle School Rain Garden Project is in the books! With the help of several FOPBC Naturalists, the 6th Grade Science classes helped remove invasive species and plant new native species in the teacher’s allotted garden space. These gardens were created in order to filter runoff from the school and ultimately help filter out possible contaminants from entering into the Pheasant Branch Creek watershed.

Thank you to the 6th grade teachers and students for all of your hard work in making your school a beautiful natural space and protecting the PBC watershed! We’ll see you in the Fall!
