Bock Forest Prairie Seed Collection

Join us Sunday October 9th, from 10 to noon to collect prairie seed at the Bock Forest unit of Pheasant Branch Conservancy.  The seed we collect will be cleaned and dried and used for future seeding to expand the prairie and increase species diversity.

We’ll meet at the kiosk at the Highland Way entrance to the Bock Forest.  Street parking is available on Highland Way.  Volunteers should wear sturdy footwear and my wish to wear pants, long sleeve shirts, and gloves.
