This phenology calendar is a partnership between FOPBC, Middleton High School and Andrea Gargas, phenology calendar editor. Holly Stoenner, MHS photography teacher has a nature photography unit where the students go to the Conservancy after learning the techniques of nature photography. They take photos in various areas of the Pheasant Branch Conservancy and enter 1-5 images in our photo contest. Three professional photographers act as judges and prizes are awarded first-third place for each semester. Photos are then available for publication in our phenology calendar.
