The Conservancy is a wonderful place to visit during these strange times.  Would you like to find more ways to help the young people in your life connect with nature?   Many other favorite locations in the area are not open to visitors, but you can visit them on line! We are part of a broader organization in the greater Madison area called Nature Net.  Our Nature Net partners are getting creative! Catch up with Zoo-keepers, Naturalists, and Conservationists as they keep the knowledge, observations, and fun ideas for nature-learning flowing.  Go to Nature Net’s website to find a calendar of virtual events to take part in and to find links to all of the partner organizations.  New things are being added every day.

Join Madison Recreation’s Virtual Outdoors Club. Enjoy weekly chats with one of the zookeepers at Henry Vilas Zoo.  Explore Bethel Horizons with a naturalist each Wednesday. Dane County Parks has all kinds of activities from Bingo to a Photo Contest. Find out what the Quarantine with Cranes activity is each Thursday offered by the International Crane Foundation.  Madison Children’s Museum has lots of good things going on. Watch and listen to stories being read by the naturalists at Aldo Leopold Nature Center.
