Watershed of Words
Class 1- Friday September 10th Noon-1:30
Class 2- Friday September 17th Noon-1:30
In this two-part class we will celebrate the very inspirational and water-focused poetry from the collection River of Words: Young Poets and Artists on the Nature of Things. We’ll start by first finding our nature spot and then our chosen nature focus and discuss ways to create our own nature poem, including nature metaphor, to share for the second class. We can use this class as a way to introduce nature poetry to our own kids and grandchildren alike.
These classes are funded by the Friends as part of our celebration of the 25th Anniversary!
