On April 2nd, City of Middleton residents will be able to show their support for funding repairs to the flood-damaged Pheasant Branch Creek Corridor, as well as Tiedeman Pond and Stricker Pond. The Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy Board strongly urges a “YES” vote on an important referendum on increasing stormwater utility fees for five years, spread over all property owners producing stormwater runoff. This increase would provide additional funding of approximately $2.8 million over that period. These funds may only be used to repair the damages from the August 20, 2018 flood.
More details about the referendum may be found on the City of Middleton website. Please talk with your Middleton neighbors and ask them to support funding the repair and restoration of the Pheasant Branch Creek Corridor with a “YES” vote on April 2nd.
