On June 5, 2024, residents from Cardinal View and Attic Angels retirement communities participated in accessible nature activities at Orchid Heights Park at Pheasant Branch Conservancy, Middleton, Wisconsin.
This event was specifically designed for individuals with mobility or cognitive challenges and their caregivers with the intent of providing an opportunity for a reconnection to nature and all its social and physical healing benefits. Attendees met at the Orchid Heights Park pavilion for a nature talk by Colleen Robinson from Nature’s Good Company, LLC, and focused on the human senses within the activity of forest bathing and slow walks.
