Friends of Urban Nature (FUN)- Prairie Plants and Birds

Join our education coordinator Tim Hansel for a free family friendly walk at Pheasant Branch. Enjoy seeing and learning about the beautiful prairie plants of all shapes and sizes! Help look and listen for Meadowlarks, Bobolinks and other prairie nesting birds! Try using the Seek app and Merlin Bird ID to identify some prairie plants and birds and learn more about them.
Meet at Pheasant Branch Prairie Encampment parking lot.
This is a free, welcoming, diverse, educational, fun and family friendly program.
FUN events occur on the 4th Saturdays of the month from 1:30-3pm.
No need to register. Meet-up at the Pheasant Branch Conservancy.
