Learn about nature and the Conservancy at our Conservancy Days and Friends of Urban Nature events or volunteer to help keep Pheasant Branch healthy during a seed collection or invasive species removal work day.
Notable events include:
- Prairie Chase Run/Walk: Annual Friends fundraiser held in June that includes a 5K run/walk, a 10K run, and a kids’ run
- Conservancy Days: Educational sessions focusing on wildlife, history, and ecology of the Conservancy; held every other month at Middleton Public Library
- Friends of Urban Nature (FUN) events: Monthly outdoors & educational events at the Conservancy; held on the fourth Saturday of every month
- Volunteer work days: Invasive species removal, seed collection, monarch butterfly tagging, and more

Prairie Chase Run/Walk
FeaturedJoin us for a fun race through the Conservancy at the 12th annual Prairie Chase Run/Walk. Participants can sign up for a 5K run/walk or a 10K all-terrain race along the trails at Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for those 20 and younger.
