About Me
Jim attended Luther College, where he obtained a degree in accounting before earning a CPA license. He worked many years in public accounting becoming a partner in a local CPA firm in Hayward, Wisconsin. As a cross-country skiing enthusiast, he also served as a founding board member of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation.
After the nest emptied, he and his wife, Iris, moved to North Carolina where he was Chief Financial Officer for a large surgical practice. Following retirement, the call of Wisconsin’s outdoors and proximity to family led them to choose Middleton as their new home. Pheasant Branch Conservancy was a major factor in that decision, and they enjoy frequent walks along its trails as well as other natural areas throughout the state.
