About Me
Ken is a Milwaukee native who moved to Madison to complete his degree in Chemical Engineering at UW-Madison in 1971. He worked for the Wisconsin DNR for 30 years, mainly as an Environmental Engineer focused on industrial wastewater pollution prevention, finishing his career as Assistant Administrator of the DNR Water Division.
He and his wife, Barbara, raised three children in Madison, always amazed at the educational and natural ecosystem here. They moved to Middleton in 2020 and live next to the Conservancy along Pheasant Branch Road.
Ken has continued his lifelong interest in anything water-related as a member of the Friends’ Watershed Committee.
