About Me
Paul Ludden was born and raised in Nebraska and moved to Wisconsin for graduate studies in Biochemistry. He is a retired professor and university administrator, having taught at UW-Madison, UC-Berkeley and SMU.
Paul and his wife, Linda, moved to Middleton upon retirement and chose a residence near Pheasant Branch Conservancy where he walks, camera in hand, as often as possible. Paul’s research and teaching included the study of photosynthetic microorganisms involved in the nitrogen cycle. He serves on the Education Committee of Friends of Pheasant Branch and enjoys seeing budding scientists develop an interest in nature.
