About Me
Pete journeyed from Pennsylvania to the Midwest for grad school (MS-Geography, UW-Madison) to study human-wildlife conflict, and then… stuck around. Enamored with the lakes, prairies, winters, and bicycle infrastructure, he worked for several years in the outdoor recreation industry before settling down as a stay-at-home parent.
Pete volunteered to organize the Prairie Chase Run and was recruited to the board shortly after. He serves on the Executive Committee and the Accessibility & Use Committee, where he is interested in how to balance the competing demands on the Conservancy to provide wildlife habitat, stormwater management, recreation resources, and more. Look for Pete running/biking/skiing with kids and a (leashed) husky puppy!
